Edwin "Ed" Miller, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor
Ed is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with decades of experience walking alongside individuals, couples, and families through emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges. With a calm presence and pastoral heart, Ed provides a safe, confidential environment for clients seeking healing, clarity, and growth. His background in both professional counseling and church ministry uniquely equips him to support clients who desire faith-integrated care rooted in wisdom, compassion, and truth.
Education and Experience
Ed earned his Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2013. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Church Music from Dallas Baptist University.
Ed has served in a wide range of counseling settings, including private practice, community counseling centers, residential youth programs, and telehealth. Most recently, he served as Director of Clinical Counseling at The Hope Center in Corsicana, Texas, overseeing counseling ministry and providing direct client care. He currently provides telehealth counseling and continues to serve bi-vocationally in church ministry.
Ed believes counseling is most effective when clients feel deeply heard, supported, and guided with wisdom. He helps clients explore emotions, identify patterns, process past experiences, and develop practical tools for lasting change. His approach is relational, structured, and compassionate, helping clients move forward with confidence and hope.
Ed integrates evidence-based counseling methods with a Christian worldview, offering clients both emotional insight and spiritual grounding. He is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD and Brain Health, allowing him to support clients working through trauma, stress, and life transitions.
With advanced training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and how the brain affects mood and thinking, Ed specializes in helping clients process traumatic experiences and reduce symptoms that interfere with daily life.
