Education and Experience
Elizabeth holds a Masters Degree in Art in Marriage and Family Therapy from Toccoa Falls College, and obtained her Bachelor of Science with a Double Major in Counseling Psychology and Bible Theology with a Minor in Cross-Cultural Studies. She is also a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator.
Elizabeth has training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples as well as Gottman. Both of these models are well-known as tools for helping couples. She is integrates trauma-informed modalities such as Internal Family Systems and Brainspotting.
Elizabeth has personal and clinical experiences with families and adolescents. She has 7 years of volunteer youth ministry and 4 years of mental health ministry. During her internship at a private practice setting, she worked with couples in premarital counseling and marriage recovery, with individuals through relational trauma, and families through life transitions.
Clinical Approach
Elizabeth’s approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. She believes in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. She believes that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and she guides clients on their journey toward greater connection, joy, and well-being.

Personal
Although Elizabeth was born overseas on a military base, she spent most of her life in the DFW area. She is married with two sons and enjoys spending time with family and going local adventures. She also enjoys baking and reading. Elizabeth is a member of a local church and enjoys including God in every moment of life.
