Lena is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping others as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward healing and happiness. Her approach is grounded in respect, integrity, and professionalism, and she seeks to plant seeds of hope in every interaction.

Education and Experience

Lena earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a Master of Education in Teaching from The University of Texas at Arlington. She later obtained a Master of Education in Professional Counseling from Texas Christian University in 2019. 

 

Lena is well-versed in education and mental health support. She began her career in education in 2006, and has served students and families from diverse backgrounds. Her professional journey includes roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, campus school counselor, and district-level Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) & Crisis Support Specialist.

Clinical Approach

With a compassionate heart and a tailored approach, Lena offers holistic counseling that aligns with Christian values. She integrates various evidence-based modalities, including Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), to support clients in overcoming life’s difficulties.

 

Each session is uniquely designed around the client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals. Whether client’s are working through trauma, life transitions, or emotional struggles, Lena is here to walk beside clients—helping them discover resilience, renewal, and lasting hope.

Personal

Lena was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 20 years, and together they have three wonderful sons. Lena and her family are active members of their local church, where they enjoy serving and staying connected. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, attending women’s Bible studies, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and church community.
