Don’t miss our next event

Diana will be speaking at a breakout session, “Raising Supporting and Caring Children”, for the R.O.C.K. Bullying Prevention Summit, Saturday October 21st.

According to a 2016 NCES study, more than 1 out of every 5 students report being bullied. Parents are influential in deterring the bullying that their children are exposed to. But what if the bully is your child? What do you say when your child witnesses bullying? In this presentation, parents will learn: 1) how to identify if your child is a bully and how to address it, and 2) the important role of bystanders in preventing bullying and what you can teach your child to help stop bullying. Join the discussion with a local child and family therapist and learn very practical ways to raise and support caring children.

This session will be presented by Diana Bigham, MA, LMFT-S, RPT-S, a licensed marriage and family therapist supervisor and registered play therapist supervisor with over 10 years of experience. She has experience working with at-risk youth and victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and neglect. She also has served as an adjunct faculty member at Hardin-Simmons University and Texas Women’s University. In addition, Diana coordinates Redefine LLC, a collaborative group of talented independent private practitioners in Keller whose common passion is to help people pursue wholeness through strategic sessions. Diana specializes in developing practical strategies with individuals to create a more fulfilling life through personal development and growth, as well as improving relationships through effective communication. She strives to provide quality services that she would want for her own family: thorough, outcome-driven, and with integrity
